Housing Support Program, Huntersville, NC

At Hope House Foundation, our goal is to help women who are experiencing situational homelessness, along with their children. If a woman here in the Huntersville, North Carolina community has nowhere else to go, she can come stay with us while she gets back on her feet. In addition to our housing support program, we also offer a range of other services designed to help our residents regain their self-sufficiency.

The women who come to us usually do not need long-term support, but simply need temporary assistance while they deal with difficult circumstances. Our housing support program is designed to help these women avoid having to live on the streets, and our additional services--including case management, job-skills training, and affordable housing placement—are designed to help them build long-term resiliency and self-sufficiency. The goal of our organization is to serve as a catalyst for social change and to end homelessness in our community, and we have helped many women make real strides toward self-sufficiency thanks to the support from our generous donors and our dedicated volunteers.
